Caterpillars, moths, butterflies, and all creatures great and small,

There’s a lot happening.  The weather has wrecked havoc in parts of our country.  I need to reach some friends and in-laws who live in parts where tornadoes touched down.

love-butterflyI would like to take this time to thank our new followers.  Your support is greatly appreciated. I’m really behind in visiting the blogs of new followers, but I’ll eventually catch-up.

For those who may not know, in July 2013, Blackbutterfly7 had about 68 followers.  We now have over 250.  That’s not only because of subjects we write about, but also because of comments, the respect you show for each other and your welcoming spirit.

I’m opening this thread to discuss whatever is on your mind.

It’s a bad weather day in my neck of the woods, but I have some errands to run so am putting my hoodie on.

      Hey Mindyme! It was your encouragement, opinions and always being there for me that gave me the motivation and strength. Do you remember when we got 25 visitors in one day that I was jumping for joy? That must have been around September 2012.

      I miss Jim — wish he would come around more often.

    A gunman opened fire Tuesday morning at a FedEx facility in Kennesaw, Georgia. Six were shot, with their injuries ranging from minor to one in critical condition. Authorities report that the gunman is dead.

      I heard an excerpt of one of his recorded conversations where he talked about Black Jews and White Jews, saying that White Jews were 100% better than Black Jews.

    Byron Smith, the man who killed two teens for breaking into his home and claimed self-defense, has been found guilty of first-degree murder.

    Immediately after the verdict, Smith, who is 65-years old, was sentenced to life without parole.

    LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (KMSP) –

    Byron Smith has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the Thanksgiving 2012 shooting deaths of Nick Brady and Haile Kifer in Little Falls, Minn. The jury returned a unanimous verdict on all 4 counts after just 3 hours of deliberations.

    The 4 counts included two charges of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder for the shootings of Brady and Kifer in Smith’s basement.

    I hope you and your in laws , friends , family are ok during these severe weather periods,Xena. Recently we saw a criminal named cliven bundy, treated like a hero for defying the federal agency BLM. Cliven Bundy for 21 yrs had his cattle illegally graze on public(federal)land. For this act he owes the govt over 1,000,000. Bundy still has his property. Politics Nation 4/29/14 did a story on a woman ,who didn’ t
    pay a $6.80 surcharge on her property tax. Her home
    was taken. A federal court ruled that action just. Owe over$1,000,000 engage on armed insurrection
    against federal Leos you keep your property. Owe$6.80 property taken.

      Bundy wanted another Waco. Back in the 1980’s-1990’s, when sovereign citizens disobeyed an order of the court, they were found in civil contempt and put in jail until they decided to obey the court’s order. They should do that now, and arrest his goons for interfering with federal officers.

        Definitely a low for Dr. Drew.

        Apparently, Shahrazad Ali approves of minorities being bought off or, at least, that if a person donates to minorities, she think that person can’t be racist.

        And, Taaffe…Taaffe needs to put one of GZ’s bandaids over his mouth!

          I thought that Taaffe rode into the sunset. Maybe Dr. Drew resurrected him as a witness to the White Supremacy mindset. IMHO, that wasn’t a good call on Dr. Drew’s part.

    Couple of questions for anyone who might know:

    #1. ElderZims’ lawsuit against Roseanne Barr: I stumbled across a Motion to Dismiss that Barr filed in response to the elderCACs’ lawsuit (for invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress) against her. But it was filed in federal court, and the only elderCACs’ Complaint that I’ve seen was filed in state court (Seminole County).

    Does anybody know what’s up with that litigation? Or know of any site(s) that might be following it?

    Uh, oh … I forgot my 2nd question!!
    Guess I’ll have to ask it later, if or when I remember it!

      Barr’s attorneys moved the case from the Seminole County Court to the federal district court. I predicted that would happen due to diversity. Barr lives in Hawaii and the Zims in Florida. The Zims did not specify an amount of the lawsuit. That left it open for the case to be moved from state court to federal court, although the claims are state claims.

      The court will schedule a hearing where the judge will give the Zim attorney a date to file a reply. Then Barr gets to file a response to the reply. Then the judge decides. It could be 4, 5, 6 months or more.

    OK, I remember now.

    #2. Jurors identities. I’ve read that the identities of the jurors in the trial for murder of Trayvon Martin have been released. But I haven’t found any specific information about them or their identities.

    Does anyone know where to find any information about their identities and/or anything else new learned about them?
