George Zimmerman Not Charged – AGAIN

George Zimmerman with shadesOn September 27, 2013, Machelle Dean, George Zimmerman’s mother-in-law, contacted Lake Mary, Florida police, reporting that George moved out of the house he rented, leaving behind damages and taking several expensive items that belong to her.

Today, the Lake Mary police announced that after nearly a month of investigation, no charges are being filed against George Zimmerman.  Lake Mary police said that many of the items that had been removed were found by the Deans in different locations.

Sounds to me that George may have planted those items where they could be found, only after Machelle notified police.

A police report detailing the allegations made by Dean is due out this afternoon.

    • @Rachael. I know a guy who stole a truck belonging to his tenant. (Said he owed rent.) The tenant suspected him of stealing it and got a lawyer. The court ordered the guy to return the truck. He didn’t, so they put him in jail for civil contempt. While he was in jail, the truck mysteriously appeared in the middle of a major street, with the keys in the ignition. The guy brags to this day how his wife “returned” the truck after he figured he kept it long enough to make it equal with the wages the tenant lost by not being able to drive to work.

Sounds like something George Zimmerman would do.

I had a toxic landlord who tried to keep a piano belonging to me. I asked him if I could leave it one more day because I wasn’t able to get it out with everything else on the last day of the month. He locked the outside gate (the property was fenced) and basically told me to eff off – so I enlisted a couple of retired marines to take the gate apart – I still had a key to the place – we removed the piano, left the key on the kitchen table, put the gate back together . . . the landlord couldn’t call me fast enough, wondering how I got in . . . LOL . . . and he couldn’t do a damn thing about it because the piano was mine and I’d been a good tenant – no damage, nada. I don’t know what the heck he thought he was doing.

  5. No he’s not made of Teflon. It’s just that his buddies at the police departments everywhere in this nation (they’re all basically the same) have his back so that he’s set for life. Police officers respect Zimmerman as if he was one of them because, just like them, he shot an unarmed Black teenager and got away with it. As far as they’re concerned he’s now a member of their club.

Racer, yes he will. I’m not surprised he got away with stealing stuff – if the Deans can’t provide proof the items are theirs, it would go in many states to a landlord / tenant dispute. But I am surprised he got away with defacing the counters.

Just found out that one of my favorite music groups from the 60’s has gotten back together and is going to be in my neck of the woods next month. When I saw them in concert in 1969, it cost me around $5.00. Now, first floor tickets are $87.00 and if you want to sit in the “meet and greet” section, the tickets are over $200. Well, I want my old albums autographed, so there goes the new outfit. Maybe I can find some bell-bottoms packed away with a tie-die T-shirt and headband. 🙂 Still have my peace-symbol necklace. 🙂

Geez, I can’t even imagine paying that much for a concert. I think the most I’ve shelled out was $20 – and I thought that was bad. I saw a lot of groups back in the day $3-4 at university venues. Heh-heh – I still have a fringed leather vest that only my teenager can fit into.

I’ll probably have an early demise by burning the midnight oil so much – good time to solve problems.

  14. Renee Stutzman of the Orlando Sentinel reports:

“Police tried to question Zimmerman but he referred questions to his attorney, Mark O’Mara, the report said. At one point, O’Mara said he’d just pay the estimated loss himself “because his client did not need the extra attention,” the report said.

    However, that never happened.”

    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/seminole/os-george-zimmerman-not-a-thief-20131023,0,2069517.story

Lake Mary Police previously said that Zimmerman came to the station, and that is when they learned that some of the items had been found elsewhere. So, Zimmerman had to speak for himself and reveal where the items were located because O’Mara didn’t pay for them. Sounds like Zimmerman was trying to screw O’Mara. Had O’Mara paid for the missing items, Zimmerman would have kept them rather than tell the police where they were. At least, that’s what it sounds like to me.

    • Xena, Because MOM had stated that he was no longer representing George Zimmerman, it would be curious that he would have any comment on a case that was being investigated. Normally an attorney would answer comments of this nature with a simple “no comment”! Do you suppose that George Zimmerman is holding the threat to expose the knowledge by MOM of the money in his possession from the beg site, before the bond hearing? Has anyone given any thought about how long it took for the Sanford Police to respond to the Trayvon Martin murder scene, versus how long it took MOM to get to the scene of the dispute between the Zimmermans? Strange that MOM can come all the way from the Orlando area almost as quickly as the Sanford Police can go three to five miles…

      • @crazy1946. Good questions!
O’Mara said that he was not representing George in the divorce nor domestic dispute. Maybe he saw the theft situation as yet another case. Or, he just could have seized the moment to get himself in the news again.

Your questions reminded me of a question I had early on after hearing another of George’s NEN calls. In one, he told dispatch that he would meet the cops at the back gate BECAUSE HE HAD TO OPEN IT FOR THEM. Between that time and when he killed Trayvon, maybe the SPD gained access code to the back gate, because IIRC, that is the gate Smith came through on 2/26/12.

        Like

        • Actually Smith came through the front gate.

He showed his path in at the trial using a pointer light and tracing his path.

          Like

          • @Yahtzee. Did he really?

I do remember Zimmerman lying about when Smith arrived. Apparently, he was hiding what he did in those missing minutes, and not once mentioned that a resident took a picture of his head.

            Like

          • I found the trial video with Officer Smith’s testimony:

If you go to timestamp 3:15, you can see Officer Smith using the flashlight-pointer to show his path through the front gate as he says he went in the front gate.

            Like

          • @Yahtzee. Now it’s making sense. Remember Zimmerman telling Hannity that he was terrified thinking that a cop would arrive and see him standing with his gun and shoot him? Also, he told Hannity that the cop arrived in 15-20 seconds after he killed Trayvon?

So, Zimmerman must have seen at least a reflection of the patrol car lights and his walking back and forth as testified by Mora, and his call to NEN was because he knew the cop was there — just not where. Smith surprised Zimmerman when he walked to the “T” from Retreat View Circle because Zimmerman dropped his cell phone and I believe, his flashlight key chain too.

Zimmerman also told Hannity that he was screaming because he thought the cop was there and just couldn’t locate him. Funny that he stopped screaming after firing the shot. It’s as if he didn’t want the cop to find him after he killed Trayvon. (We know it was Trayvon screaming.)

Listening to Zimmerman’s story is like having three jig-saw puzzle pieces mixed up together and trying to determine which ones belong to which puzzle.

  15. What freaks me out is why zimmerman has all this nerve to run around and threaten ppl, punch ppl, steal shit, destroy property, speed and over tint his windows all while ARMED, but won’t do it UNARMED! he never did that stuff when he was out on bail though he was driving around and visiting lawyers. so it wasn’t like he never left his hideout during a year on bail. it’s just that he was not allowed to have a gun. he thinks he’s invincible as long as he’s packing!

he’s the most dangerous kind of coward, he’s the type to pick on the vulnerable who have no recourse either because he blackmails them or lies about them or now simply kills them. it’s sickening that anyone would defend him at all much less lie for him to help him get away with murdering a 17yr kid.

this latest incident with him threatening everyone w. the gun ON CAMERA is the way he handles himself when he’s not getting the respect he thinks he deserves. Just like he was telling det.singleton when he was telling her that no one would question her authority.
My dream is someone bigger and badder threatens his authority and puts him in the ground where ppl like him belong.

    • @Shannon. Your assessment of Zimmerman’s character is right-on. His courage is his gun. His anger is his gun. His authority is his gun. Take away his gun, and we find him “soft.”
