  4. These kids have to express their outrage by registering and VOTING ! ! ! If the massacre of 20 elementary school kids at Newtown did not move the hearts of these NRA bastards and politicians, then nothing would ,EVER….. unless they get booted out thru the power of a citizen’s vote.

    • Ren,
Following Columbine, Michael Moore did a documentary, “Bowling for Columbine”. He brought out the role of the NRA in that movie. I thought that maybe Congress would wake up and do something about gun control. After the Senator was shot in the head, Congress did nothing about gun control. After Sandy Hook, Congress did nothing about guns. The NRA has used the State of Florida as its testing ground, and along with automatic rifles citizens now have to be concerned with conceal carrying nuts.

Congress didn’t listen to the adults. The children are now making their voices heard. The forthcoming elections for the next 10 years might be one-issue voting on gun control, and we don’t need wishy-washy politicians talking about hunting when it’s humans, even children, being hunted and killed.

      Yes, voting is crucial.

What a great video! The music tells it like it is.

The youth of our nation WILL bring about the needed change. It was good to see all generations in the March For Our Lives rallies across America yesterday.

As so many of their signs say:

    Protect Kids, Not Guns!”

  6. I was born and raised in Chicago and know the history of how guns came on the streets. I also know how the police didn’t come to calls in certain neighborhoods, which eventually led to vigilante justice. This young man is right — gun violence in Chicago didn’t happen overnight.

  7. I saw this first on Scottie’s post. Continuing your blog title “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are LIFE…………..”

    • Hello Phil. Happy to meet you. Thanks for fleshing out the rest of the Bill of Rights. If that document held true, then there are constitutional amendments that would not have been necessary. Amendments making slavery illegal, (it should have never been legal since all men are created equal and liberty is an unalienable right), and voting rights for women and men.

I believe today’s young generation is going to hold this country accountable for every word.
