Man Shoots Self – Accuses Black Man of Shooting Him

wrongfully accused 2On February 1, 2014, 34 year-old Brent Thomas Posada of Redding, California went to Shasta Regional Medical Center reporting that he was a gunshot victim.   Posada claimed that he was standing on the sidewalk outside his home in the 100 block of Hilltop Drive when a man approached him and pointed a handgun at his head.  Posada described the alleged suspect as a Black male, 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, in his late 20s and wearing a black hoodie-style sweatshirt, blue jeans and black, high-top shoes with silver stripes.

According to Posada, he pushed the suspects arm and the gun went off hitting him in the stomach.

Police conducted a search of the area but did not find evidence to support Posada’s story.  They also examined Posada’s clothing.  They found evidence that did not support Posada’s story.  For one, while Posada said the suspect had a handgun, Posada had been shot with a high-powered air rifle.   Posada then admitted that he shot himself in his apartment.  He gave no motive.

The case has been referred to the Shasta County district attorney’s office to determine if charges of filing a false police report should be filed.

mysterious-man-in-silhouette-isolated-on-white-background-134209049It was years ago, and I want to say that it might have been Richard Pryor, but there was a very profound act about using the “template.”   It said along the lines that whenever a crime is committed where the suspect is a Black man, that the cops bring out a template or silhouette and ask the victim, “Is this him?”  That gives the cops right to arrest the first Black man they see.   This story reminded me of that.

Then too, I was reminded of Jodi Arias and how she first said that  people dressed like Ninjas killed Travis Alexander.  Jodi even said that she thought one of them was Black.

    • mindyme62,
Remember the girl that cut a “B” in her face and said that a Black man did it because she had a McCain/Palin sticker on her car and he was voting for Obama? The “B” was backwards, clearly cut while she was looking in the mirror.

There are lies but to go as far as to harm oneself to make Black men look bad is a sickness.

  4. I’ve seen it happen over and over again. In fact, a once (no longer, for obvious reasons) “friend” of mine told me to tell my parents I was raped by a black man to explain my son – who needed no explanation thank you very much!
