Great advice for friends who don’t know what to do when you have breast cancer.

So true. I’ve learned on this journey that there are friends who are take-charge people. If a friend has a problem, they jump right in to help fix things. But, the “C” word tells them they can’t do anything to help fix the “problem”. It becomes, “If I can do anything for you, let me know.” Or, “If you need me, let me know.” That places the burden on us and who really likes asking friends to do things anyway?

Yes. It’s what therapy animals do for their humans, but for some strange reason humans think we need to say words.
