Butterflydreamer’s Beach Vacation
You might have read that our precious friend, Butterflydreamer2, has been diagnosed with a serious medical condition. She is scheduled to start treatment in just a few days. Butterflydreamer shared that she longed to go to the beach before starting her treatment — and she did!

Oh man oh man that looks so sweet! Camping on the beach, what an awesome vacation.
There is something so life affirming about at being the ocean. The feeling of infinity as there is no end or edge of the world, the endless horizon. I hope you had a wonderful time and will return to those same shores very soon! Thank you so much for sharing that with us. I’m sending happy thoughts and healing vibes your way. Keep us in your pocket as you go through the next few days and weeks.

I am so happy you enjoyed your wondrous time by the ocean, taking in the view and sound of the waves and wiggling your toes in the sand. 🙂

I’m reminded here of a story that I read when Martha Stewart was in prison (stay with me)…
Martha’s daughter went to visit her one day and the two of them laid back enjoying each other’s company. Someone asked them what they were doing and they responded that they were enjoying their time at the beach. You see, you can be where you want to be and do what you want to do… if only in your mind.
My hope and wish is first for the healing of your body and secondly that you spend as much time as you want…AT THE BEACH!!!

Thanks all for the wishes. This is what I know so far, you know if you don’t ask, they don’t tell. I start next Monday. It is not chemo, but a medication they will give me once a week. It is constricted to one kidney with a mass to the heart. So they want to stop that. They will talk to me for about an hour before they begin the drug. That’s all I know, and the dr was pretty positive, so we continue.

Butterflydreamer, WOW! That’s a much different story than the one they gave you previously. It’s not the best news, but it is certainly better news. How are you feeling physically?

Update…….
Went for first treatment today, will go once a week. All tests I took yesterday to see if it were in the bones or brain are all negative!!!!! Has not moved to other kidney, so all is looking good. Thanks to all your positive thoughts and prayers.

Hi yahtzeebutterfly. My week went well, went today for 2n’d treatment. Lab reports came out fine. The only thing that is different is food tastes a lot different, not in the good way. That’s okay, I could use to lose some weight, a lot of weight. All the people sitting around me getting treatments said the same thing, nothing tastes the same. I sent hubby to store for chocolate ensure. Things could be much worse right now, so I can’t complain.
