Roseanne Barr

It seems as if we’ve gone from dog whistles, to outright, in-your-face, bigotry.

Abagond

(ABC/Robert Trachtenberg)

Roseanne Barr (1952- ), US comedian and conspiracy theorist, is best known as the star of “Roseanne” (1988-97), a US television comedy on ABC about a White working-class family. The show made a comeback two months ago, March 2018, quickly becoming one of the most watched television shows in the nation – only to be suddenly cancelled yesterday on May 29th.

Barr destroyed her show in just 53 characters on Twitter:

“muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj”

This was so racist that even Sean Hannity of Fox News found it “appalling”.

“VJ” is Valerie Jarrett, a long-time adviser to President Obama and an object of right-wing conspiracy theories. Jarrett is also a Black woman.

Screen-Shot-2016-03-11-at-8.32.55-PM-300x199Those sons of hippies. Those darn progressives.   Those doggone believers in equality for all. Those idiots who live in a diverse area.  Those morons who attend the diverse University of Illinois in Chicago.  They came together by the thousands inside and outside of the U of I Pavilion causing Trump to cancel his rally.

Go Chicago! Go Chicago! Good Job!

Show America who the idiots and morons really are.

No Blood Money – No Match

Yesterday, David Alki wanted Zimmerman to fight a high profile opponent in a fight-club style match.  He said that he would donate all profit to the Trayvon Martin Foundation.

Tonight, TMZ reports that Alki has changed his mind and cancelled the match.  His reason?  The Trayvon Martin Foundation said it “stands boldly against any act of violence” and would reject David’s donations.

David has said that he decided to pull the plug altogether, saying,  “I respect the wishes of the family and in light of this we are canceling the event.”

The Foundation’s official site is http://trayvonmartinfoundation.org/.

Damon Feldman

Damon Feldman, promoter for the celebrity boxing match involving George Zimmerman, took to Twitter today and officially announced that the event has been cancelled.

TMZ reports that Feldman tweeted,

“Just looked at my son and daughter today wow I’m so lucky those people must be in so much pain … all you people are right.”

On February 7, 2014, we wrote here about the fake match, why it should be cancelled, and posted the link to the petition to cancel the match.  The petition picked up steam through social media, including Twitter.  With a goal of 100,000 signatures, the petition now has 98,583 signatures as of the writing of this article.

Thank you Damon Feldman for doing the right thing.
