In effort to stop policing for profit, Ferguson, MO. Municipal Court Judge Donald McCullin, who was appointed in June, has announced sweeping changes to the city’s court system. All active warrants issued before December 2014 will be withdrawn. The accused will be given new court dates and alternative penalty options such as payment plans or community service.

FogleJared Fogle who is famous for pitching Subway for losing weight, has plead guilty to federal charges of distribution and receipt of child pornography and unlawful sex acts with minors. Though Twitty sent that email, she has denied she is racist.

Twitty did not receive a severance package when she was fired from Ferguson, according to the Post-Dispatch. She is reportedly working as court clerk in Vinita Park, with a population of 1,880 people, three days a week, according to the newspaper.

Man Charged In The Shooting of Police Officers In Ferguson

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch identified the suspect as 20-year old Jeffery Williams. McCulloch said Williams was arrested Saturday night and acknowledged his participation in firing the shots. A 40mm handgun tied to the attack was recovered.

Williams is charged with two counts of first-degree assault, one count of firing a weapon from a vehicle, and three counts of armed criminal action. McCulloch stated that Williams is not a resident of Ferguson and may not have been aiming at police officers. McCulloch did stated that regardless of the intended targets, the charges would be the same.
