  1. The shooter was a guy who held a grudge and would not move-on.

“Jarrod W. Ramos, who law enforcement sources say used a shotgun to blast his way into the Capital Gazette newsroom on Thursday, killing five people and wounding two others, had a long-running dispute with the news organization.

He had previously made “general threats” against the community newspaper company over social media, including some as recent Thursday, said William Krampf, Anne Arundel County’s acting police chief. The threats “indicated violence,” Chief Krampf said.”

Still, African Americans are considered to be a more violent threat, justifying the use of deadly force by law enforcement.

    • Hi Benjamin. The dehumanization and demonizing of people of color is the history of America, starting with Native Americans and Africans. Trump is doing it now with those of the Islam faith and those crossing the southern border.

  4. We actually talked about this subject at work. That was a horrific event and the fact that 45 just walked away while people were asking questions said a lot about him.

    • Ospreyshire,
“45” only cares about himself. It was a most dangerous thing giving the highest office with power to someone like him.

The other side of the coin is that people who hold grudges like the killer, who issue threats, should be taken seriously by law enforcement.

      • That is one obvious trait of 45 which is a stone cold fact.

Good point on that Jarrod Ramos guy. He’s like Nicklaus Cruz because both of them made threats and had priors, but no one took them seriously enough to stop them until it was too late.

  5. We have only to look around. We already imprison more people any other country on the face of the earth. If we decide to arrest everyone who threatens to harm others, the half of us un-incarcerated will be needed to guard the half that is. You can guess who will be the majority of those deemed most in need of locking up.
