  1. YAY for the students trying to do something that should have been done long ago by the lawmakers and the politicians who are in the pockets of the NRA. These youngsters have been setting a fine example so far.

I believe these youth have a momentum and spirit that can never be stopped! I believe they will bring about the important change to gun control that is needed. They planned to take it to the voting booth as they each reach the voting age.

    • Yahtzee,
They are highly motivated and get the right amount of positive media coverage, which is always a help. Back in the 60’s, the media painted students as hippies and druggies. I suspect some of today’s journalists are children or grandchildren of former hippies.

  5. I usually consider ‘colorful socks’ on dudes in suits a pretentious (albeit stylish!) flair. I forgave the guy yesterday heading into the office with his orange (hunter orange) socks.

    • LOL! I hadn’t noticed. Back in the 60’s, it was the length of hair, the wearing of blue jeans, and love beads that got critical attention. So, with each generation I suppose people will notice the styles. 🙂
