Nicely Done… Samuel L. Jackson

There might not be a role that Samuel L. Jackson cannot play. I enjoy his acting and his name in the credits is one of the fastest ways for me to see the movie. I recently saw “The Samaritan” and his character in the “Hateful Eight” makes the story.

    • Yahtzee,
Happy you enjoyed it. I don’t remember the year now, but Samuel L. Jackson was said to have appeared in more films that year that any other actor.

        🙂

You’ve made me curious, and so I went to this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_L._Jackson_filmography ) trying to find out. He appeared in seven films in 1997 and six films in some other years. I did not have time to add in TV movies that are listed below the theater movies.

        Excerpt of interest:

Samuel L. Jackson is an American actor and film producer. In 2009, the collective total of all box office receipts for films that Jackson has starred in (including minor roles and cameos) is the highest of any on-screen actor. As of December 2015, Jackson appeared in over one hundred films with a worldwide box office gross of approximately $16 billion to date.

        • I was watching the movie “Out of Sight” with Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney, and right at the end, there is Samuel L. Jackson in a cameo appearance. LOL!
