What a bunch of awfulness. The slur. The Jackson portrait. The politicizing of this event. Speaking of Jackson, for all that he’s praised in some circles, I hope that people do realize that to some, having a Jackson portrait in the background of celebrations for American Indians is the equivalent of having a Hitler portrait in the background of celebrations for Jews.

Brendan,
I’ve had many speechless moments since November 2016. This is another one of those times.

John,
My confession; when he won, I thought well, he’s president. He’ll either be presidential or his advisers will keep him silent. That hope didn’t last for long. He has taken the position of president to give him authority to be rude and insulting because no one can do a darn thing about it.

It’s like having a 300 lb. 3-year old taking over the house. He can’t be shut up. He can’t be sat down. He won’t listen to parents. He disrespects grown-ups.

I have deep respect for these two Navaho codebreakers, WWII Veterans!
They must ALWAYS be HONORED! I hope they know that I and thousands upon thousands of other Americans will always honor them.
