  1. What a bunch of awfulness. The slur. The Jackson portrait. The politicizing of this event. Speaking of Jackson, for all that he’s praised in some circles, I hope that people do realize that to some, having a Jackson portrait in the background of celebrations for American Indians is the equivalent of having a Hitler portrait in the background of celebrations for Jews.

  2. We can’t expect any better from an ignorant, common man with no class.

    • John,
My confession; when he won, I thought well, he’s president. He’ll either be presidential or his advisers will keep him silent. That hope didn’t last for long. He has taken the position of president to give him authority to be rude and insulting because no one can do a darn thing about it.

  3. Well, at least he didn’t tell them how many Native Americans really, really love and voted for him bigly.

  4. My guess is that some staff member did a couple of seconds of research into “presidents” and “Native Americans” and came up with a return for Andrew Jackson, just like one did thinking that Frederick Douglas is still alive.

I have deep respect for these two Navaho codebreakers, WWII Veterans!

They must ALWAYS be HONORED! I hope they know that I and thousands upon thousands of other Americans will always honor them.
