    • Roderick, thanks for the head’s up. I checked over on courtchatter and they are not live streaming jury selection. However, there is a reporter on Twitter reporting what is happening with jury selection. @AraizaReport

If you and/or others are interested in following the trial, I’ll post an open thread for it. Let me know. Personally, I think Apperson’s attorneys are going to have a tough time because he doesn’t appear able to assist them with his defense.

No, I am not really interested in the trial per se, but the defense strategy.

Since Georgie will be the State’s primary witness how much of Piglet’s prior bad acts will the defense be allowed to ask to show that George likes to provoke fights and has a violent history.

Or maybe they will have some of his ex-girlfriends testify.

        • Roderick, I kinda doubt that the judge will allow George’s violent past to come before the jury. But, it would be interesting to see if George is cross-examined on his actions since his acquittal, including his suspension from Twitter for posting nude pics of his ex-girlfriend. Then there was his attack on Trayvon’s parents, and let’s not forget his association with the gun shop owner who banned Muslims from his store.

There were also altercations between him and Apperson before the one that resulted in Apperson’s arrest, and I hope that does make it to trial.

  8. Xena, I almost hate seeing GZ’s photo. It is enough tl ruin one’s day.

I am believing that HRC’s politically risky comments about “deplorables” may rebound in her favor. What she said is true. HRC’s campaign already has out an advertisement to counter his attacks on her. The commercial shows him saying a string of ugly statements about Muslims, Blacks etc.

    Hugs, Gronda

  11. I wonder if he includes the jobs he outsources when he says he will bring jobs back.

    • Well Mindyme, that’s the only authority he has — is over his own companies. There is law that requires American companies who outsource to other countries to bring the jobs back. The only thing they can possibly do is try to pass a law that taxes those companies, but even that might be a problem since the only thing they can tax on is labor, and we have no control over wages paid in other countries. In other words, Trump is feeding voters a big snow job.

Also, jobs going to other countries started happening under Dubya. Knowles Electronics had a federal contract with the Armed Forces and moved its operations to Taiwan around 2003. So, the hearing devices that U.S. military pilots use on planes are made in Taiwan. Many people here lost their jobs. Know what our U.S. Senators thought about that? Nothing.
