White Supremacists Enter Houston’s 3rd Ward Carrying Confederate Flags & Racist Slogans
I can’t help but question — if they are pro-cop, then why weren’t they carrying signs with the names of those cops killed, regardless of the race of the killer? I think that one officer out of New Mexico was buried this weekend.
Armed with assault rifles, confederate flags and white supremacist slogans, a group of the extreme fascist right-wing calling itself ‘white lives matter’ stood on the grounds of the Houston Chapter of the historic civil rights organization – the N.A.A.C.P. – to sing the praises of police officers who’ve killed unarmed Black people and decry activists who’ve spoken out against police abuse. They claimed to be exercising their “second amendment right to defend ourselves”, despite their going into the overwhelmingly black third ward to spread their toxic agenda.
Perhaps not surprisingly these white supremacists with their stated pro-cop agenda were barricaded and protected by police officers. It goes without saying that the response to this demonstration on the part of police was completely different from their response to Black Lives Matter demonstrations. Excellent article by Caleb who pointed out disparities that exist and and also pointed out the meaning of one sign that was being carried by one of the demonstrators.

If that group was truly about White Lives Matter, and not White racial supremacy, they would have had signs with the photos of Whites killed by law enforcement, or at least a sign with their names. They like to challenge Black Lives Matter by arguing that more Whites are killed by cops than Blacks. So, they should have have signs with the photos and names of those such as Jeremy Mardis, Kelly Thomas, Ethan Saylor, and Misty Holt Singh, which are clear cases of no alleged wrong-doing of the victims justifying deadly force.
You know, White Supremacists called me a “black racist” for reporting on Trayvon’s killer’s trial. When I reported on other cases, such as that of Ethan, Misty, Daniel Shaver, Dillon Taylor, Douglas Buckley, Tamra Seidle, and others, the White Supremacists could no longer say I’m a “black racist” so they accused me of “hating all cops.” That puts their White Lives Matter into a pickle because they cannot advocate justice for those Whites killed by cops without applying their accusation that to do so makes them a cop-hater. It’s not lives that they care.

PS – This year we have KKK nosing around communities in S. Cali. They get permits to do their dirty work under the guise of White Lives Matter and other pablum. These cities used to have KKK members on city councils and in PD, etc. in the early 20th century (may possibly still have many on the sly, who knows). They’e apparently looking for a foothold like that here.
However, demographics have changed radically in the 21st century and these cities have more minorities, and in many cases, whites are actually a minority in many of these communities, so the KKK and others are quite unwelcome but do it anyway.
Overall, citizens in these communities get along quite well – S. Cali is mostly laid back about race except for all the problems that PD and the court systems cause with institutional racism, and so there’s really no point in these groups trying to stir up trouble.
I can hardly wait until Trump disappears from the scene. How do we get the most toxic Trumpians to back down and shut up too?

So very true Xena. It always seems to come down to anti-Blackness with these people. Hell, they even rallied to George Zimmerman when he murdered Trayvon Martin when on any other occasion they would’ve taken one look at him and demanded proof of citizenship. But because of Zimmerman’s anti-Blackness he is celebrated by white supremacists as one of their own.

Yes, and because he did what they told him to do, which is something they expect from those they believe are inferior. Or at least that was the claim of the main online provokers. For example, the attempted humiliation of attorney Benjamin Crump; and interrogation of Rachel Jentel at trial, and the lawsuit against NBC where all purported ideas of white supremacists giving Zimmerman advice.

This is a new angle of viewing this for me. I’ve always thought of Zimmerman as being very much a white supremacist himself, and not as a puppet of white supremacists.

What Zimmerman thinks of himself, and what White Supremacists think of Zimmerman to use him, are different things. Zimmerman might very well think that he’s been accepted into the brotherhood of White Supremacy. But, White Supremacists will never see Zimmerman as their equal. Yes, he is their puppet.
Most recently, I saw a Trump spokesperson on television trying to justify Trump’s “what have you got to lose” speech, and in effort to justify it, she called out names of a few Blacks including that of Alan Keys. Wow! Did I ever laugh. Keys was a party in a lawsuit claiming that Obama is not a “natural born” U.S. citizen. But, even before the 2008 presidential race, Keys was chosen by the GOP as challenger for the U.S. Senate against Barack Obama. He lost, only getting about 27 percent of the vote.
In other words, there are hate groups, including White Supremacists and sovereign citizens, who will adopt a puppet for their purpose.

I understand what you’re saying. I guess I’ve always seen Zimmerman as being so accepted by the white supremacists that it seemed they truly embraced him in a way that they didn’t even with people like Clarence Thomas and Alan Keyes and Sheriff Clarke of Miluawakee who through their actions support their cause. It seemed to me their admiration for Zimmerman went beyond the puppet or token affection they display for the others. It’d be interesting to see their loyalty commradory with him tested.

After his acquittal when he was caught on camera fighting with Shellie and her dad, there was a great split among his supporters. Many of them who blogged deleted them, or deleted the posts supporting him. Zimmerman killed a Black teen, and his defense was in degrading Trayvon. The White Supremacists liked that. They don’t care who degrades Blacks.
I looked at this also from a standpoint that if they respected Zimmerman as their equal, at least one of his supporters would have given him a job and a roof over his head after his acquittal. Apparently, none of them found him good-enough. In the alternative, none of them are in a position to help him. Understand that to mean that not one of his supporters is a professional anything who could offer him employment and housing.

I only know of their disputes and actions after the verdict because a handful of them had come after me, putting them on my radar. By reading one blog, I learned of several other blogs that I did not know about during Zimmerman’s case. The people discussed how those blogs had been deleted after George’s altercation with Shellie.

They are not just being bolstered by Trump, but by FOX TV and other right wing outlets which keep publicly saying that Black Lives Matter participants are a hate group who hate cops. What peaceful protest group is going to be carrying guns? These are white as–oles who are looking for trouble.

I think the same thing happened in 2008 when the Tea Party started. Anytime White Supremacists think there is a political candidate to co-sign their hatred, they come out of the woodwork, exchanging the white robes for rifles.

I laughed very loud and hard when Trump said Blacks did not get educations, then said he would make sure to give them jobs. I asked, “the kind before the Civil War?” His entire begging speech disregards that with all those failures for Blacks, we have a Black President in the White House.

The insanity factor is dangerously high on this one. For the life of me, all I see is Trump losing any votes he’s trying to con and those on the fringe. If I was looking at this with a “sell me” attitude, I’d have walked out. There are no answers by the Donald to a direct question. All he’s doing is adding more clips to the thousands of “Top 10 Stupid Trump Moments” my 18 year old son, voting for the 1st time, has thousands of stupid Trump clips.
It’s hard to believe he’ll get elected and as a fact, the odds are against 1st time candidates (and we’re damn glad of it) AND, he’s never even been a Mayor, let alone a real; politician. Do I want to see this clown with his finger on any button………no……

Eurobrat wrote a fantastic parody post about Trump and his non-answers. What you say about the lack of Trump’s experience speaks volumes. His supporters think that running a business qualifies him to be President, but it requires knowledge of political science, and something Trump has shown ignorance in; i.e., the separation of powers.

Hey Xmatman! To answer your question in my opinion, it would blow their accusations against Blacks out of the water. People might actually take a look at those names, research, and find that the majority of the cop-killers are White. That’s coming up in Part 3 of Defining Black Lives Matter, which I plan to publish this evening.

Interesting perspective. IMO: That might be what motivates the puppet masters. But I doubt very seriously if they were among the group of armed confederate flag waving skinheads in Houston. Those were the kind of folks who probably still believe Columbus discovered America, and the South was fighting for states rights.If one were to ask them to name a victim of gun violence they would probably say Jesse James.
