Melania Trump’s speech appears to have been plagiarized from a Michelle Obama speech (seriously)

Melania Trump stole portions of the FLOTUS’s speech, plain and clear. She needs to muster up some integrity and publicly admit that instead of having “aids” make excuses for her on the media.

While pundits appeared mildly surprised at Melania Trump’s not-as-bad-as-we-were-expecting speech, tucked in as it was amongst the rantings and raving of D-listers and has-beens, journalist Jarrett Hillnoticed a striking similarity to another well-known speech—one delivered by Michelle Obama at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

Why Melania Trump’s plagiarized speech should be fatal to Donald Trump’s campaign

Melania Trump’s stunning plagiarism at the Republican National Convention should by all rights be fatal to her husband’s campaign for president, not merely because she plagiarized but because of who she plagiarized from. Melania, who claimed beforehand that she wrote her speech “with as little help as possible,” stole…

    • Hey Ren! When I heard Melania’s speech, my first thought was that it was absent of an anecdote — something about how she met Donald due to having common interests in a cause that is important for America. You know — like what he said about loving this country when he ran for Congress. OOOPS. My bad. He’s loved this country so much that he’s not wanted to gain experience running anything other than his mouth, hotels, and a reality tv program.

  3. Amazing, isn’t it. Sigh. Like the article you posted said, not so much Melania – she is just doing what she is supposed to do as a candidate’s wife, so I feel kind of bad for her to be made fun of, I mean seriously, being married to the azzhole of the universe is punishment enough, but she seems nice enough. But HIM? For all the horrible 5th grade names and games with his opponents, and all the horrible things that were said about Barack and Michelle…I think it is hilarious – it was “ghetto” and “welfare queen” when Michelle said it, and horrible, disgusting, unspeakable racist things, but now when it is Melania, it is great? Well he deserves a taste of his own medicine. I don’t wish this on her, really – but a little dose of karma at him is great.

I mean c’mon – Michelle showed her bare arms and they went ballistic, but they are fine with Melania’s family value assets displayed in men’s magazines? Again, it isn’t that I have a problem with that, it is the hypocrisy.

As far as Two sides asking what next, IDK, but I’m running out to stock up on more popcorn after work.

The following tweet alludes to Steve King’s remarks from yesterday when he said, “I’d ask you to go back through history and figure out where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people that you are talking about? Where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?”

    • Hey Juan! I agree. Melania is between a rock and a hard place. It would be so easy for her to say that she admired Michelle Obama’s speech from 2008 and shares her values and dreams, but that would make some Republican heads explode.
