    Mankind could learn a lot from watching the actions of animals. In this case, peaceful co-existence. But alas, too many folks today would have whipped out a gun and shot the animal and swatted the butterfly.. I guess it could be said that I am rapidly loosing faith in my fellow man…

      Mothman, what you say is right-on. It’s one reason why I enjoy posting things that are uplifting. Animals live by instinct and if they are not hungry or afraid, they are not a threat and neither see other lifeforms as a threat. Man who lives in fear and hatred is different, seeing mostly everyone and everything as a threat. A threat of what? That depends.

    You know, the way my brain functions makes me very unique in many ways. I am the type of person to ask myself what do species think? For example, what is the wolf thinking and conveying to the butterfly. What is the butterfly thinking and conveying to the wolf? But if nature can get along beautifully, why can’t us and we are suppose to be superior. We can learn a lot from nature if we shut up and listen. Love the picture.

      Hi there anglogermantranslations. Of course you can reblog this. I did not know there is a German idiom of the lion laying down with the lamb that means showing no respect. I learned and understand it to mean peace. It’s a translation of Isaiah 11:6 from the Bible.
