Former Cop Daniel Holtzclaw Sentenced to 263 Years

Daniel HoltzclawOn December 10,  2015, after a month-long trial, Daniel Holtzclaw was found guilty on 18 on 36 counts, including 4 counts of first-degree rape while on duty.  For further background, we reported it here.

Holtzclaw was a police officer in Oklahoma City. His sentencing was held today. Holtzclaw’s attorneys delayed sentencing for several hours by filing a motion for a new trial. The jury, who deliberated 45 hours, recommended 263 years for sentencing. Today, the judge denied Holtzclaw’s motion for a new trial, and entered the jury’s sentencing recommendation. Holtzclaw’s sentence will be served consecutively.

Holtzclaw’s victims, all women, consisted of teenagers and grandmothers. All of them are black.

Some press conferences were held and if they are released on Youtube, I will embed the videos in the comment section below.

    • Doesn’t it seem that men who put women in fear and abuse them, cry like babies when they are found wrong? Holtzclaw probably never thought that any of his victims would be believed. Too bad. So sad.

  5. Whaaaaaa….Whaaaaaa……..Whaaaaa……

Yep, Law Enforcements Finest. At the 2:00 minute mark, he’s rocking to & fro like a 9 year old who just got busted for, well……..what kids do that rates punishment.

I take that back……………..it insults all kids.

Near the 4:00 minute mark the Bailiff behind him is thinking “……dude, it’s 32 counts….duhhh, did you actually think you’d skate on all of them?…….and stop that sissy girlie whining……you’re giving all cops a bad name. Well……….and all those other cops who shoot and maim for their own sick reasons”

The Lawyer on the right side is thinking …………

This cop got off easy. Without know all the details, he has that badge and a gun and is empowered to abuse the rights his victims actually PAY for.

“I have as much sympathy for him as he had for his victims.” I don’t think I can even muster that to be honest, but I know what you’re saying.

I also pray for his victims and how many didn’t come forward because of the embarrassment factor.

  6. Cops should definitely pay the price just like anybody else and not only that, they should pay MORE of a price because they are supposed to be better than civilians! They’re supposed to be out there setting an example, whether it’s using their turn signal when driving down the street, or refraining from raping people.

Small infraction or big crime, they’re still supposed to be leading the way and showing the rest of us how to act right. If they can’t manage to follow the rules that the rest of us are supposed to be following, there’s no excuse and they shouldn’t be cops.

It’s not that difficult to flick on a turn signal, and it’s not that difficult to keep the hog inside the pants. Anybody who has difficulty doing either of those things, go into a different line of work please!

  8. There’s quite a bit of satisfaction knowing this particular savage will die in a cage.
But I find it unbelievable this POS was out there terrorizing so many women & for so long, and that no one he worked with had a clue. That’s crazy & I don’t believe it.
Judge Judy says: if it don’t make sense it’s probably not true.

I can’t help but think of Sandra Bland when I think of cops abusing women. I’m positive they did something physically to her to cause her death. Every time I see her mug shot or hear her on video screaming at that loser for slamming her to the ground, im more positive that police dept is more than capable of murdering her.
The way they kept her so effing long in that place, like kidnappers, the arresting cop’s attitude and easy lies on his little phone call, the jail ppl moving her to a cage in the back away from everyone else, and the judge who’s 100% complicit in the abuse of an innocent woman setting any sort of bail instead of ordering her immediate release, all should pay for what they did to her.
    Its a horror movie.

      Shannon,

I will never believe that Sandra Bland killed herself. She had everything to look forward to with her new job. She also knew how to stand up for herself as seen in the video of her arrest.

      • no way she hung herself the physics dont work…also she knew she had a huge sum of money coming for the false arrest….she even told him that something like you really going yo do this, it is ON now……she knew her rights and knew he was violating them.

        • Sandra was outspoken, and she was angry. That combination often leads to people saying what they are going to do. That is what I suspect happened and the powers that be decided that before going up against a woman from the Chicago area, that it was best to silence her.

    Excerpt:

DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — An Atlanta area grand jury on Thursday indicted a police officer who fatally shot an unarmed naked man on charges including felony murder, aggravated assault and violation of oath of office.

The decision came after DeKalb County prosecutors presented their case against Officer Robert Olsen, who fatally shot Anthony Hill on March 9 while responding to a call of a man behaving erratically outside a suburban Atlanta apartment complex.

The family of the 27-year-old Hill says he was a U.S. Air Force veteran who struggled with mental health problems.
