The Person Behind The Justice for Dylann Roof Facebook Community Page
Warning. This post contains the comments of someone else that some might find offensive.
I’m late. Others have already written about the Facebook Community page titled “Justice for Dylann Roof”, the 21-year old who killed 9 people in the Emanuel African Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Yesterday morning, someone opened the subject Facebook Community Page supporting the mass murderer who committed a racial hate crime. Facebook has now deleted that page, but before doing so, its knowledge and opinions were posted on numerous websites.
Rant Political titled its article “Internet Ingrates Fail to Disappoint By Creating Facebook Support Page for Murderer Dylann Roof.”
Righting on The Wall titled its article “Facebook Page Pokes Hornet’s Nest After #CharlestonShooting”
Thought Catalog titled its article ” ‘Justice For Dylann Roof’ Is A Real Facebook Page.”
Marching for Justice titled its article “Justice For Dylann Roof: Facebook Page ‘Content Not available’ 690 Likes” and they wrote:
“I normally don’t entertain this type of crap, However I had to write about how sick some people in this world can truly be, how cold hearted and un-compassionate…. There are some sick and filthy humans on this earth, to do what ever it takes to hurt even more.”
A petition was launched on Change.org. saying in pertinent part, “This page supports hate crimes and needs removed immediately!”
I’m writing this because I have good reason to suspect who opened the “Justice for Dylann Roof” community Facebook page. If I am correct, that person is a dangerous power keg who like Dylann Roof, wants a race war.
When the person who opened the subject Facebook page was confronted with supporting Dylann for committing a racial hate crime, his retort reminded me of how the person who opened the Justice for Ted Wafer Community Facebook page tried to mask his real reason for doing so. The “About” section of the Justice for Dylann Roof page stated;
“Let’s not try him in the court of public opinion. Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law!”
That sounded familiar as the mantra of a particular individual who supports the innocence of accused murderers as long as their victims are Black. It took me some time to gather things to support my suspicion.
After more than a year of enduring the most vile comments submitted to this blog, and the slanderous acts promised unless I either delete this blog or report solely on “black on black crime,” the person submitted a comment to let me know that he created the Justice for Ted Wafer Community Facebook page and got a television interview out of it. Ted Wafer is the man in the State of Michigan who was charged,(and subsequently convicted), for killing 19-year old Renisha McBride.
Take another look at the screenshot of the comment that he submitted to this blog. He used the handle “Stanyerground” when saying that he created the justice for Ted Wafer Facebook page and got a television interview out of it. The following day, he changed his handle to “Justice for Ted Wafer” and submitted more filth to this blog. He changes his handles often, but when he submits comments to a blog, they leave other identifying features that do not change, always giving evidence that it is the same person.
Here is a screenshot of his gravatar account.
The link to the video in his comment is now dead — (Youtube subsequently suspended his account) — however, the actual video from the news source is still available. Before watching the video, let’s look at the About section on the “Justice for Ted Wafer” Facebook Community page.
Now, let’s watch the television interview of the person who stated he opened that Facebook Community page and hear him say why he did so. If you want to fast forward, the interview starts at 1:25 into the video, but if you listen to the beginning, you will hear the phrase “court of public opinion,” — the same phrase that we read on the Justice for Dylann Roof Facebook Community page.
“Let the man have his day in court”, is what the person interviewed said. However, the “About” section of the Facebook page reveals his true motivation, clearly stating that his reason for “seeking justice” for Wafer was because Wafer was “merely charged to appease race hustlers …”
This has been that person’s mantra since 2012 when George Zimmerman was arrested and charged with second degree murder for killing Trayvon Martin. Each time a Black person is killed by a non-Black, we can expect for that person to express his opinion that the killer is innocent. He submitted the following to this blog;
I did not approve his comments for posting to the public comment board. Changing his handle again, (but with the same email and IP address, and gravatar of “stanyerground”), he unzipped and exposed himself all the way as a hateful, racist bigot who wants to see all Blacks killed.
His reference to “DPTM” is the blog dothprotesttoomuch. After the verdict in George Zimmerman’s case, it became inactive, as some other blogs also. They were launched to support justice for Trayvon Martin and after the verdict, there was little to no momentum to go to other cases or issues. However, the subject individual and those colluding with him, who slandered, doxed, and harassed blog administrators, take credit for those blogs being inactive.
Not stopping there, he submitted two comments on the same day to the same thread, admitting to being a sovereign citizen. Sovereign citizens are rooted in White Supremacist ideologies, are known for murdering cops, and have reputations for committing paper terrorism in the courts in what the Southern Poverty Law Center describes as “indecipherable filings.”
Dylann Roof’s personal Facebook page features at least one expression of white supremacy, which are the flags of South Africa and Rhodesia under apartheid. His license plate cover contains a depiction of the Confederate flag. The Justice for Dylann Roof Facebook page however, displayed the scales of justice before an American flag. Personally, I don’t know if that was to support segregation in America, or to deflect from Roof’s support of segregation — or both.
There are many similarities with the Justice for Ted Wafer Facebook Community page, and the Justice for Dylann Roof Facebook Community page. Keep in mind how the person interviewed presented one reason to the media that is contradicted in the “About” section of the Justice for Ted Wafer Facebook Community page. In like manner, when the person was called out for supporting a person who committed a hate crime, he defended himself in a contradictory manner, writing in classic sovereign citizen, anti-government, warnings;
A former high school classmate said of Dylann, “He made a lot of racist jokes, but you don’t really take them seriously like that. You don’t really think of it like that.”
Their friends may not take them seriously, but people like Roof and who I suspect as being the person behind the subject Facebook page, only need opportunity. They already have the motive.
The subject supporter of Ted Wafer, (and who I suspect is the same person behind supporting Dylann Roof via Facebook), has continued his harmful actions against me and this blog since 2013. He is a person who I take seriously as being dangerous. After failing to threaten and slander me to have me delete this blog, he and several of his cohorts have engaged in a campaign of slander and harassment of others to discourage them from associating with this blog. They deliberately violate our civil rights to freely associate with others, regardless of race, gender, age, national origin, or sexual preference.
I have only circumstantial proof that the person who opened the Facebook Community page Justice for Ted Wafer, is the same person who opened the Justice for Dylann Roof Facebook page, but you can see why I suspect they are one and the same.
By the way, I’d like to give a shout-out to Ormond Beach, Florida. (wink)
