MCKINNEY, TX – Brandon Brooks, the 15-year-old boy who shot the McKinney pool party video that’s being broadcast around the world, is telling his side of the story to NewsFix.

“The cops showed up and the parents immediately started yelling, ‘you need more cops, there’s too many of them.’ And most of the kids weren’t even involved,” Brooks explained. “It was a fight between a mom and girl, which had nothing to do with all the other kids that she apparently needed more cops for.”

That’s when Brooks says the officer, identified as Cpl. Eric Casebolt, arrived on the scene and flipped out.

“He trips and drops his flashlight. He’s going crazy, putting people in handcuffs, tackling people, slinging them on the ground,” Brooks said.

So, why wasn’t he handcuffed too?

“I was one of the only white people in the area when that was happening,” Brooks told NewsFix. “You…

  1. And the lady who slapped the young girl is also no longer employed

“”According to a statement given to the Dallas Morning News, “CoreLogic does not condone violence, discrimination or harassment and takes conduct that is inconsistent with our values and expectations very seriously. As a result of these pending allegations, we have placed the employee in question on administrative leave while further investigations take place.” Several calls to confirm if this was actually the case have yet to be answered by CoreLogic Inc.”

The people onFox news channel is on its soapbox talking about how Casebolt is a victim. Those black teenagers were disrespectful and wrong to law enforcement. This along with Baltimore,NYC,Ferguson is fueling disrespect for cops.

The people on Fox news channel called those ARMED white militia people, who were ready to kill federal cops on behalf of a racist scofflaw patriots. They were standing against an out of control government agency. Those ARMED white militia people were resisting tyranny, etc. LVPD COPS Igor Soldo and Alyn Beck were ambushed by 2 of these ” Bundy ranch patriots”Jared and Amanda Miller

    • Chuquest,
Fox news is a perfect example of double-standards. Or, should we call it what it is, which is promotion of Jim Crow. Obey without question — know your place, or be arrested or lynched by taser or bullet.

You are so right — the cop killers from the Bundy ranch are totally omitted from the rants of sovereign citizens and White supremacists when they talk about cops who are killed for doing their jobs.

Until the day comes that I can NO LONGER believe my eyes, or what I HEAR with my own ears, I remain convinced there are police officers that use their authority in an aggressive, and all too often intimidating manner. This is covered on the news daily, resulting in unarmed citizens being abused and murdered.

To “Serve and Protect” is training given to every police officer, with NO exclusion concerning nationality, gender, race or religion.

Why are we transgressing back to the 50’s and 60’s? Why are we becoming such a divided country, or even more so, such a divided world? Wars, religion, race, guns, lack of equal rights………..

Whatever happened to compassion, understanding, love thy neighbor, help the poor, live and let live. When did superiority and hate take over?

Yes, there will always be those who break the law. And no, not all police officers are bad.

BUT……….if it smells vile, and is proven to be a bad egg………..get rid of it before it injures someone!

I was watching the video of the kid that filmed Casebolt going wild, and the one thing that really hit me is his behavior gave those kids a negative impression of LE. They are setting bad examples.

      • Agreed, there were about a dozen officers present but which one will they remember? The out of control officer who cursed and pulled a gun on others.

I’m glad this teen recorded what he did and I wonder if there are others who have recordings that didn’t release them. One thing though about this teen…..he wasn’t there for the start of the fight….he said in his first interview he was in the bathroom and only heard about it from a friend who came in there to tell him and by the time he got his stuff together to leave the fight was over. So he wasn’t there to hear what was said or by whom in ref. to the fight, he was present for police. According to his first interview he was one of teens the security guard was trying to kick out because he didn’t have a pass to be there but he went in anyway.

I do know from Twitter, that many blame the section 8 comment to the teens on one of the female adults who started everything but in my post below, one of the teens handcuffed for trying to tell the cops what happened said it was a man who made that comment……maybe the security guard?

  6. This is about a lawsuit against Casebolt awhile back accusing him of sexual assault& harassment.
it was ultimately dismissed w/o prejudice cuz the guy was still facing the criminal charges, but he could re-file after the criminal case was resolved. unfortunately he didn’t re-file. and I’m not sure what happened to the criminal case cuz I didn’t finish reading about it, I cared about the accusations against casebolt.
the complaint is on this article too if ya wanna read it.

Brown accused Casebolt of reaching into his “private area” and pulling his pants “down below ankles” during the traffic stop.

Brown was parked on the wrong side of a road in McKinney, according to the civil complaint. Casebolt told Brown he was going to write him a ticket for the traffic offense, but then said he saw two marijuana seeds and an open container in the car.

Brown said Casebolt also remarked about the “white girls” who were with him and made comments about him and his clothes.

Brown also claimed in the lawsuit that another officer, Lee Keith, slammed his head into the hood of the car repeatedly. He said Keith held him while Casebolt pulled his pants down. Another officer, who is not named in the lawsuit, allegedly spread his legs while one of the officers shined a flashlight in his anus.

In their response to the lawsuit, the officers claimed that Keith had to grab Brown when the suspect reached for Casebolt’s gun.
