  1. Hey Xena,

I just wanted to say thank you so much for being there for my and my wife through thick and thicker. Through all the times you were an ear when I called and B!tched about what we have been going through.

For all of your help your guidance your support love and friendship, its like I said if there is anything that I have learned it is that in all of this I found that there are very few friends out there who you can really turn to in times like this.

I will say the advice and assistance has brought us allot of peace in the last few weeks in regards to what we are dealing with I appreciate every ounce of what you have done for us. I appreciate the community we have here on this very blog each and every one of them have shown nothing but love, respect and support.

I am not sure how much longer we will have until these matters are resolved but just know that I am forever grateful to have crossed paths in this lifetime. They say God works in mysterious ways I truly believe that.

Again thank you so much Sis, and of course to the community here on this blog thank you all for your support.
    Enjoy your weekend

    • Santiago,
Your comment brought tears of humbleness, and tears of sadness — sadness because no one should have to go through what you and your family are going through.

There is much work for us to do, including contacting our legislatures to write or amend laws giving them teeth so law enforcement will enforce them.

We here are caterpillars who have transformed into butterflies, and it’s an ever learning process as each issue we face in life takes us through the process again. When in the cocoon stage, we must trust those around us to keep us safe. As we begin to break through, it strengthens our wings and we see things from a higher perspective. Our lives become one of bringing happiness and joy to others. Our experience means we can tell our sons and daughter what the struggle brings.

Thank you for allowing me to help. Thank you for being my friend, my brother.

This is so cool! 😀 We got a parakeet March 3 and he is a miracle. He’s learned so much that I am blown away. He talks already, whistles my tunes and he comes when we call. I’m teaching him to say, “Mom is a Democrat,” and, “Dad is a liberal.” I can’t wait. 🙂

  5. These pets know how to get your attention. I had an orange tabby cat who would wake me up in the morning by taking off my curlers, one by one until I got up and fed him.

  6. Hey dudes! Its been a rough few weeks over here in the dirty south. and one of the issues here is we’ve got these kittens that need homes except I love them all so much. they’re feral & their mom& dad have been together over a year & already had 2 litters, i have 3from her 1st & 1 from her second litter &she went to have her 3rd but I haven’t seen her in 2months. I’m afraid she’s gone. because a guy in a nearby business said he caught 3 kittens, took them home & adopted 1 and found homes for the 2 others. So there’s no reason for her to be gone. the dad’s here all the time peeing on my car & whatever else he sees.
But last night Ginger (1st ginger that’s ever had me) came in with an eraser sized puncture wound in his hind. It doesn’t appear infected & his nose &ears felt hot but then I checked the other Black Baby & his ears were just as warm..so I’m hoping that means he’s not infected.
And I can’t take him to the vet for at least a week!!!
We also had a GIANT OPPOSSOM making all kinds of racket the other night and I went out and he JUMPED ON MY TRUCK AND STARED AT ME, BUT THEY CAN”T SEE!!!

I need homes for most of these kittens and I need homes for ALL THE KITTENS IN THE WORLD! I’m so upset with this world.

I remember asking my mom why god let innocent kittens suffer. This was years after I’d already accidentally watched one of the those ‘feed the children’ infomercials at about lost my mind with grief.
I remember her answer about the children, but I don’t remember what she said about the kittens. I’m a hundred years old now and still cry about the kittens.

    • Shannon, is there an animal rescue shelter in your neck of the woods? That would seem to be the best bet in getting those kittens homes and medical treatment. I cry about animals too, and even more about abused animals. (Passing the Kleenex)
