Now let’s hope that the jury finds them guilty.

The one officer stated he was going to kill the guy before he even arrived at the scene that day, according to another story that was reported. I’m glad the prosecutor in this case isn’t going the ‘fiasco’ grand jury route with this.

Mindyme,
Here’s a video with the audio of Sandy he was going to shoot Boyd in the penis. He was shot in the lower back. The attorney for Boyd’s family says that had Boyd turned around, he would have been shot in the penis.
IMHO, Boyd was killed because he was homeless.

Nobody has briefed me, so I’ll shoot him……hey, worked for Wilson.
More evidence that most cops are the real life thugs.

Charged as they should be. A prosecutor that is doing the right thing , rare.

Hey eZe. Yes. I was just reading that the prosecutor has taken lots of criticism for not arresting officers for killing citizens. She is now trying to redeem herself.

The real question is whether or not the Albuquerque prosecutor is putting on a real trial or a show trial, shades of the Orange County, Calif prosecution of Officers Cicinelli and Ramos, the murderers of homeless man Kelly Thomas in Fullerton.
Tomorrow is the anniversary of the day last year when those officers walked free from the courtroom after a lukewarm prosecution case, despite a damning videotape of the beating. There are still ongoing protests over this event and a gathering is scheduled tomorrow evening at the Fullerton, Cali transit center where the beating took place. Please light a candle for Kelly and all victims of police brutality.
I’m hopeful that justice will be served in Albuquerque, but I won’t hold my breath.

Two sides,
My doesn’t time fly? I remember posting the verdict as tears filled my eyes. With the video, I thought for sure that the jury would convict Cicinelli and Ramos.
Justice for Kelly Thomas.

Good, I hope the open charge is for 1st degree murder. It was as though they tricked him into surrendering then shot him dead.

Makes you wonder what selection procedure they use for recruiting police.

There is a petition to terminate and indict the officer who killed 12-year old Tamir Rice.

I remember this one, too. No words exist that could adequately express my disgust and revulsion (similar to other cop MURDER videos). But I don’t get what took so long, if the prosecutor didn’t invoke (and abuse) the grand jury process in this particular case.
WTH??

Annie, I don’t know what took the prosecutor so long. I think part of it is to give the officers paid leave without having to work in order to save up money for lawyers.
