According to blackenterprise.com, Jahvaris Fulton, the older brother of slain Sanford, Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, recently graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.

Fulton, 22, has made the best of his opportunities since losing his little brother to violence. Prior to graduating, Jahvaris served as a congressional intern for Florida Representative Frederica Wilson.

Wilson, a founder of 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project, also counts Fulton as a member who helped to encourage at-risk in Miami-Dade schools to stay in school.

    Congrats !!

Need I say the words……about graduating…..or not and celebrating anyway……..

  3. He’s an amazing young man. To lose his brother, support his mom, appear on media, and still complete his classes and earn his degree is amazing.

  5. peni4yothot

Wow, so proud of this young man. Success is the best payback.

  6. it’s a result of a strong, supportive, healthy & devoted family environment.
there’s no way Jarvis could be as successful as he is were any of the filth circulated before and during trial about Trayvon & his family’s character true.
It’s hard enough to persevere with a sense of direction and positivity when your family is turned upside down from the murder of an innocent loved one, imagine the additional strain fighting through the demonization of the victim by the murderer so he can get away with it in media and with the assistance of some in the public! unthinkable.

    • Exactly !! I don’t know If I could survive mentally what this family has been through. You want to talk about a diametrically opposed group compared to Fogen and his sorry lot.

Jahvaris never went on TV crying about diapers and spoons…..no mention of sour grapes after the verdict. No BS trying to unduly influence anyone. His entire family is dedicated, honest, sincere, hard working and true role models to be looked up to.
