Open Discussion – Sept 30th

butterflies_peace_sign_framed_tileCaterpillars, butterflies, moths, crusty old moths, and all creatures great and small,

Earlier, I asked if you would like an open discussion thread this evening to discuss today’s trial in the case of Michael Dunn along with other things.  Joseph replied “yes.”

Ask, and ye shall receive.

Along with today’s trial, other news include:

  • Ferguson, MO.  There have been town hall meetings.  Members of clergy were arrested last night and like the previous evening when others were arrested, they were held hostage until the Ferguson Police Department got protesters to either stop protesting, or to march rather than assemble.
  • George Zimmerman and his family are back in the news.
  • People are talking about the Secret Service at the White House allowing an armed intruder to get inside.
  • Yahoo reports that a juvenile was arrested today for shooting a student in a school in Louisville, Kentucky.
  • An unarmed grandfather was shot to death in his driveway by a police officer in South Carolina.  Turns out that he was killed in February, but it is just now being reported as a comparison to Ferguson, MO.  The grandfather, Ernest Satterwhite, was Black.  The officer who killed him, Justin Craven, is White.
  • Ebola has come to Dallas, TX.  For my friends in Texas, stay safe.  Stock up on Milk Thistle Extract and Burdock Root which you can find in the vitamin and supplement section of Department and Health Food Stores.

Remember the Golden Rule and do it!

What’s on your mind?

    • I believe in a real world this interview gets carry permits revoked.

I think I found some candid camera footage of a FogenPhoole Phamily meeting, speaking of codes.

      • Racer,
Good choice for “codes.” I just saw Reservoir Dogs the other week. The one scene that stuck with me regards conceal carry. It was the woman in the car who, when the robbers were going to carjack, reached for her gun and shot one in the stomach. As he fell back, he shot her dead in the head.

        • Yep, most Tarantino movies have a lot of ironies and reflections of events like that.

So Fogen is Mr. Pink…….gotta love it.

I’m waiting for Phucking FogenPhoole to announce his next painting is of Michael Duuuhhnnnn, ya know, since he can identify with him.

His Holiday project is Rodney Kings picture……ya know, he identifies with him because of all that head pounding, it makes no difference who did that savage beating mind you.

But he won’t be painting a Ted Wafer……simple because he didn’t get away with it, oh, and was in his own house, behind a closed door.

I already have the milk thistle so I guess I will have to pick up the Burdock root at Whole Foods or GNC.

    • Roderick,
I’m sure you’ll find the burdock root beneficial. They work together with the burdock root cleansing the blood, and the milk thistle cleansing the toxins from the liver.

  3. I can’t believe I deluded myself into thinking Duuuhhnnn wouldn’t take the stand……and I’m damn glad he did.

    • Racer, at his first trial when he took the stand, he spoke with confidence and actually play-acted what happened. This time, he appeared angry. I did catch that his testimony that every bullet was intended for Jordan to be for an ulterior motive. He might file appeal to the 2nd degree attempted murder convictions and assume that he can use his testimony that he didn’t intend to murder the other occupants as his defense. If that’s true, it won’t work because appellate courts only review the record as it existed at the time of the verdict.

Two sides to a story, His words were smooth, his eyes and his body language spoke louder however.. One of the things that indicate a person is not being totally truthful is that the person has a dry mouth and did you notice that Dunn was constantly drinking while on the stand? I loved it when Rhonda was on the stand and while she avoided looking at him, his eyes were burning holes thru her… Probably good that he had no way to physically reach her or we would have to sit thru another trial…

Hopefully verdict watch will take no longer than a snap of the fingers, and Dunn will be behind bars, convicted of first degree murder, in time for lunch. 🙂

I almost got my wish of having him behind bars by lunch……..but to have him cuffed, and in prison by dinner is just fine with me!

I have been walking on clouds all day Mindy, and I keep listening to Jordan’s parents speak after the verdict. How uplifting. What strong, powerful parents they are.

            Justice…….Justice at last.

            5 hours Mindyme………..what a jury huh?

This jury was able to look beyond Dunn’s nasally, sarcastic, entitled, little innocent boyish impressions, and see him for the cold blooded murderer he is.

5 hour Justice……..I so Love it!

BTW…Glad you have your internet up and running again. 🙂

  7. St. Louis County prosecutor’s office says that the investigation into the Michael Brown shooting is completed.

“The investigation has been basically completed that is being conducted by both the FBI and St. Louis County PD,” Ed Magee, the spokesman for the prosecutor’s office, told CNN.

A grand jury is expected to decide by the middle of next month if Wilson will be charged criminally for the shooting, which sparked weeks of unrest on the streets of Ferguson and calls for a federal civil rights investigation.
