Peace and Justice Award
IDEALISTIC REBEL created this award.
In her own words:
“I am creating this award to honor Word Press bloggers who support Peace and Justice throughout the world and who are against Racism, Bigotry, Anger and Hatred. It is for the Heroes and the Sheroes who believe in One World and All People of all Races, Sexes, Religions, Creeds and Cultures Living in Harmony.
It is my hope that recipients of this award will feel proud to know their hard work for Peace and Justice has been recognized by their fellow bloggers. “
Thanks to Dr. Rex for giving this award to Blackbutterfly7. This award is special to me in many ways. Peace and justice is in my heart. More than that, it places me in touch with other bloggers who have the same heart. It’s also important because Idealistic Rebel took out the time to create it. That means so much. Many of us visit other blogs, but to honor them by creating an award demonstrates something special; appreciation; support; a bond.
Here are the blogs I’m passing this to:
http://mixedamericanlife.wordpress.com/
http://rcooley123.wordpress.com/
http://vashati.wordpress.com/about/
The first video is one in which my niece is a member of the choir. Since I’m passing this award to four bloggers, the other four videos are dedicated to them and all of Blackbutterfly7 subscribers.
My niece is a member of this choir. It’s in Minneapolis. The video is a bit over 8 minutes, but worth watching. It tells how people are not really that culturally different when they go with their heart. The choir not only consists of people of different races, but also those of same sex preferences. And, all choir members volunteer. They are not paid. Imagine that! People can make a change in many ways so that love is the power above prejudice and hate!
Bob Carlisle and Bryan Duncan. Love is the Answer.
Going back to the Flower Power Age, and bringing it to 2013, here is Three Dog Night.
Let there be peace on earth! Gladys Knight sings it!
