Thank you to Dr. Rex (Horty) of It Is What It Is for this award that signifies loyalty and love between friends.  I am honored that Horty considers me  worthy of this award and as her friend.

The Semper Fidelis Award

“I created this award because I wanted to do something special for my friends on WordPress. Semper Fidelis is Latin and means “Always Loyal.” Loyalty means the world to me. I am very loyal myself, but I’ve got major trust issues as well. And I think trust is very important if you are sharing so much of yourself with people you meet through the internet. So I am working on that!

Why the wolves? Because wolves have very strong ties with their pack. Like a family or a great group of friends. And I just love them!”

Back around April 2012 with the arrest of George Zimmerman, I looked for a blog of like-minded individuals.  TheJBMission was the first blog in Google’s return that was actually pro-justice for Trayvon Martin.  The number of people commenting was small.  As someone new to the blogosphere, that attracted me. They were personable and welcomed me.   It was by participating on TheJBMission that I learned of other blogs, such as Frederick Leatherman and Dave Knechel.  When Blackbutterfly7 opened in August 2012, and although busy with her job, family and own blog, JB found time to stop by.  I honor JB’s loyalty and friendship.

What would my wolf pack be without the Obamacrat?  The Obamacrat was introduced to Blackbutterfly7 via 3Chicspolitico where I cross-posted some articles.  Jueseppi honored Blackbutterfly7 by reblogging those posts and in doing so, I have met many other bloggers.
