    • @dreamer. Thanks for the link and I’ll try to catch Good Morning America too.

So, ShelLIE wants to get her life “back”? What life?

ShelLIE knows who is making the threats? It has to be someone who knows how to make contact with them.

Somewhere down the line, maybe ShelLIE realizes that she is married to a hateful, self-centered, cold-blooded murderer. Maybe now she’s ready to write a book.

Disappointing, I know, but it’s not unusual for someone with no priors to have a felony reduced to a misdemeanour and probation. And have to write a letter, community service, etc.

  4. Shellie’s interview on Good Morning America was very short, but informative. She would not answer as to whether she and George are currently separated. She did say that she was not home on Feb. 26, 2012. The previous evening, she went to her dad’s house because she and George had an argument. Their marriage was strained before he killed Trayvon.

This causes me wonder what state of mind George was in that Sunday evening. His wife had left him. After he killed Trayvon, he asked Jonathan to call Shellie. According to Osterman, Shellie told him that George “shot someone else,” or “somebody else.” While some of us have pondered whether he had shot some one previously, I now wonder if he had threatened to shoot Shellie and that is what she meant by “someone else.”

Shellie also said that at one time, they lived in a 20 foot trailer in the woods. Are there woods in Seminole County? More importantly, are their woods for trailers that have indoor plumping?

Remember that MOM said they had to run a phone line to a trailer when they were in hiding in Maryland. I would suspect that that is where she is talking about. Go back and watch the interview again, it absolutely reeks of the Fogdoit. This is simply another of the scams that they have gotten so good at. I predict that soon there will be a beg site set up for poor little ole Shel-lie for assistance in getting away from the Fogdoit. These people are running a criminal enterprise, and getting away with it…..

AHA!! So, that would be while he was out on bond the first time, and after turning over the money to O’Mara. Now, that raises another question. When Judge Lester revoked his bond and he went back to jail, where did ShelLIE live?

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her.

    1. She “said” she was not home that day because of a fight. This is NOT proven!
    2. They supposedly mentored children on Sundays, and shopped together on Sunday nights.
    3. She lied about the money, and his passport.
    4. Even after being brought up on charges of perjury, she still supported him.
    5. She showed up in court to support him.
    6. O’Money said “They” several times when he talked of “them” being in hiding.
    7. All of a sudden, because “they” need money, they may be having marital problems.
    8. A year ago she said: “I don’t want children.”
    9. Now, she wants children, and a life, and is sorry.
    10. She has found God.
    11. The next step is to beg for everyone’s forgiveness……..and donations!

She sat by his parents. Walked in and out of the courtroom with his parents, hand in hand. Smiled when the verdict came in, and has shown NO signs of remorse.

In my opinion she is only “sorry” because she was caught, and will try to use it to “their” benefit!

And, after Judge Nelson sequestered her from the courtroom, she had her friend lie on Tracy Martin in effort to have him sequestered too. That’s spite and trying to make herself equal to the parents of the kid that her husband killed.

And I have to follow this up with one more statement Xena. Where is Shellie’s family? Why has no one ever seen or heard from them? Why are they not there for their daughter? Why did they not come out and say: “Shellie was with us all day Sunday?” Why have we never seen them in court?

Makes me wonder…………..what do they have to hide? What has Shellie told them? I wonder.

Check for $1,000.00? At that time the web was up and running, bringing in all kinds of donations. Was it “Hush Money?” Don’t involve us? Here, take a check, this is all we can do. Something is not right here.

            • @kindheart101. Actually, the thousand dollars, as well as the $3,500 from Mama and Papa Zim, were just around the time that GZ opened the beg site. The $3,500 was money for GZ to leave the Ostermans’s and I suppose the thousand from ShelLIE’s mom was to help hold her over without GZ around.

Donations from his beg site were not that much until after his arrest. His arrest was what motivated people to send money for his legal defense. Too bad he betrayed them and used a good portion to pay off his pre-Feb. 25th debts instead, then had ShelLIE lie to the court in hopes of keeping the rest.

Thanks for your comment because it caused me to check the bank records again. Strange — as of April 1, 2012, GZ had less than $400 in his account, while Shellie had more than a thousand. The bank records for March are not included so we don’t know the source of that money. Since GZ hadn’t worked since February, and Shellie was unemployed, they were still getting money from some source before he started his beg-site.

  7. GZ lied and obfuscated repeatedly about the initial events in the encounter that led up to the killing of the unarmed teen. His description of these preliminary events came out piecemeal and need to be examined in the order he gave them up to the SPD investigators. Notably he first wanted to skip any real details of any of the events prior to his getting out of his vehicle, but when forced to “start over from the start” he found himself needing to finesse things around quite a bit. Originally his reason for getting out of the car was NOT to look for a street sign (or address on RVC) at all, but was because he was “instructed” to by the NEN call taker to maintain a visual/ see which way the teen ran, etc. It’s only later in his (inconsistent, contradictory and impossible to reconcile with the audio and visual recordings) accounts that he is willing to speak about events that supposedly took place near Frank Taafe’s unit by the “Shortcut” into the complex.

In the “re-enactment” video he has a slip of the tongue when speaking about seeing the teen by (Taaffe’s) the building, starting a sentence with “My wife….” before correcting himself. I think it is possible that the 6:45 call from Shellie to GZ was a tip off from her to him, and that she was the one who may have seen the teen enter the complex via the shortcut.

Rachel Jeantel’s account places the teen under the mail kiosk quite early, much too early for GZ to have seen him enter the complex shortly before his call to the non emergency police number.

If indeed the “tipoff” came from Shellie then each member of this marriage has something to hold over the other and thus they are locked in a relationship that can’t be easy to end.

It can be proved (and should have been at trial but was not) that GZ killed the teen after chasing him off the roadway with his vehicle, an action that made the teen run away and shows GZ as the initial aggressor. It’s uncertain if George confided this to Shellie or not – the general pattern seems to suggest that George may not have told ANYONE this part of the events. It’s the deepest secret he’s got, since few even speculate about it, unlike the events of the physical altercation itself.

But the other part of this run-up to the killing seems to involve a tip off person. Currently there is no way to prove this theory but it can be proven that GZ is lying about pulling over to call the SPD from the clubhouse parking lot. The cctv cameras are clear enough that this didn’t happen. Was Shellie the tip off person? Maybe we are getting closer to knowing.

    • @willisnewton. I know that you guys did wonderful work on the clubhouse videos. And, I still say that I see Trayvon coming out of the mail shed with GZ slowing driving behind him. Mantei showed that section of the video in court, but he had no one to analyze what it shows. That surprised me.

Was ShelLIE the tip off person? Don’t know. Lonnie Starr considers that the 3 stooges were involved in delaying Trayvon at the 7-Eleven and were somewhat involved working with GZ.

There are so many loose ends to what happened that night.

  8. Where do you see TM in the cctv videos? GIve me an exact timecode if you can, I’d love to see what you are referring to.

The significance I see in all the research done by bloggers that focuses on the movements near the clubhouse is this: it all adds up to the undeniable fact that GZ lied about what happened, and that he lied because he knew he had to lie because he chased the teen off the roadway with his moving car, an act of aggression that invalidates his self-defense claims before he ever even left his car.

While the cctv videos are compelling support to this, the timeline suggested by the NEN call and the map of the gated community are enough to confirm the car to pedestrian chase alone, provided you estimate the speed of a walking person.

GZ told the call taker that the teen was near the clubhouse now/ yeah, and now he’s coming towards me.” Regardless of GZ’s bad memory, PTSD, ADHD, etc he was SOMEPLACE at that moment, and so was Trayvon. By simple process of elimination one can place his vehicle on TTL facing the mail kiosk – a spot he himself marked on a map for Singleton before quickly amending it to relate an impossible tale of the teen doing the “doubling back” to circle his car.

Rachel Jeantel spoke repeatedly to the idea of the car to pedestrian chase, but the prosecutors never understood the basic timeline and so did not follow up on this aspect.

I’ve looked at the cctv tapes as much as any but the conclusions I see are NOT ones that are arrived at independently, nor would they have been needed in court to present a compelling argument to a jury that the teen ran away from a menacing figure in a MOVING car. They merely confirm and support what is already obvious to one who has the NEN call recording, a stopwatch and a map. GZ narrates the events quite well in many regards. He announces the movement of TM towards his car, and his anger/frustration when the teen passes. Then he bustles about doing god knows what (many hear a gear shift sound right after “these axxholes always get away”) for around 30 seconds or so before announcing that the teen is running, and opening his door. Were GZ still parked by the mail kiosk, he’d be too far away to reach a position where he could definitively declare “he ran” in time to know that the teen was out of sight. Were he ORIGINALLY at the cut thru parking spot he claims, the teen would have been walking so fast to pass him as to have continued completely out of sight before GZ could see him run. When you eliminate the ends, that leaves the middle to consider. GZ parked in the middle of the teen’s path, then moved as far as he could with his car in pursuit, and then continued the pursuit afoot.

It’s only simple logic to conclude that he was first by the kiosk and later by the cut thru. GZ himself admits he moved his car during the call – he just lies about where from and when, and his lies are contradictory, impossible to reconcile and utterly self serving.

I realize I go on and on about this, but to me the car to pedestrian chase is the cornerstone of his lies – it explains the movements, the crime that was already committed – criminal stalking – and the order and meaning of his ridiculously inconsistent and contradictory statements about where he was at what point in his call.

How this relates to Shellie is that GZ knows things he likely never told her – about the killing and also about his life in general. But she knows he’s a liar, and she knows he’s capable of terrible things. And she may know some things that could have sunk his ship prior to the trial as well.

The question is, what is she going to do about it? I imagine that she is slowly awakening to the mess he has made of HER life and yet it’s quite difficult to extract herself – unless he is the one who does the extracting, at which point she will have power over him should she so choose to exert it – but if that comes at a price, she’s got to consider her options.

I have a theory that she was the tipster, and that she was alone when she saw TM enter the complex and called GZ at 6:45 to let him know. If this is the case, then they are locked into a mutual destruction pact – on some level that makes her a possible accomplice to murder. I’m guessing that these two people are locked into a pact where it is in their individual and joint interest to keep this a secret -but that it is also a threat they hold over one another. They aren’t mentally stable or wise, but they are (usually) able to see their self interest on some level, So they may never rat one another out. We have to wait and see.

Absolutely, and please do go on and on because we need to make documented history. The jury has spoken in the 2nd degree murder case, but GZ is still out there, free to carry a gun, and like a reptile — acting on instinct and as a creature of habit.

I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed with the timing of the clubhouse videos because there are some that are 18 minutes off and others that have corrected the time. What I will do this weekend in put together the mail shed part where I see a figure that could be Trayvon walk by or out of the mail shed, and the headlights of GZ’s truck slowly following him. In fact, I’ll also include the frames in slow motion so that the figure leaving out the mail shed can be seen more plainly.

Without concentrating on timing, the one thing that stuck out to me in GZ’s re-enactment, is when he says he saw Trayvon in front of Taaffe’s house, then drove to the clubhouse and parked to call NEN. That would leave Trayvon behind him. GZ would have to be clairvoyant to know which way Trayvon would walk after he passed him and parked at the clubhouse. That doesn’t make sense.

Based on Rachel’s testimony, Trayvon was aware that he was being followed. Had he intended to do anything other than go home, he would have turned around and left out of the gated community rather than walking further into it.

As far as Shellie and that evening, she knew GZ’s mindset. She knew the essence of their argument and how he reacted to her leaving. In her interview when asked about GZ profiling and answering that’s not his way, I must wonder if maybe Shellie pushed GZ to do more in ridding that community of Black males because of her own fear of them. In his written and subsequent statements, that is exactly what GZ conveys; i.e., that it was his wife’s fears that caused him to start NW; and his wife’s fears that caused him to be vigilant.
