Don West argues that the State pulled “a trick”

  1. West is so disrespectful.

    • Didn’t Judge Nelson tell him this morning that his conduct is unprofessional?

The other night when he lost it, had Vanilla Ice Cream West been a litigant rather than a lawyer, a bailiff would have led him out of the courtroom and into a holding cell.

      • Judge Nelson deserves a long vacation after this is over.

Sooo when he’s found guilty, do you think she’s remand him to custody on the spot? 🙂

        Like

        • Oh yeah! A finding of guilty gets GZ remanded to the county jail until sentencing. The defense will probably move for bail pending sentencing, but the court is unlikely to grant that seeing that Osterman has a Trust fund for GZ, and Donnelley has admitted being able to donate thousand of dollars to GZ.

Wonder what the hell Taaffe will say tonight ?? Can’t wait to hear when Robbie the Racist get back on….yep, I’m thinking he won’t see Fogen for at least 10 years……just like before.

        • I think they did. I listened to closing while working in the shop and the customer’s hot rod I’m working on (a FL native & a CCW gun owner) says “…he’s fucked” Hey….his words.

O’ Mara contradicted himself quite a few times, rambled, and insulted the jury. At one point he said use common sense…..and later said don’t use common sense. My customer & I were laughing like you could not imagine.

          Like

          • @racerrodig. O’Mara misrepresented the evidence and outright lied at times. Additionally, he was very condescending to the jury. When you hear presenters say they are finishing up, but they continue to talk for more than 5 minutes and then start to repeat themselves, they are not confident that they have gotten their message across.

IMO, O’Mara also messed up by trying to teach the jury the law in his closing. It was confusing and contradicting.

When the camera panned to West and GZ listening to O’Mara, they did not look pleased.

I heard that the jury has already asked for a list of the evidence. Those women are working. They have been sequestered since June 24th and want to go home. Maybe we will have a verdict by tomorrow, and it shall be a verdict of guilty of murder in the 2nd degree.

            Like

          • Yep…..At one point he said “use you common sense” not 20 minutes later he said “don’t use common sense and if you even thing self defense, you must acquit” (paraphrase) then went on forever on the “Innocent box” crap. Till the day I die, I’ll remember being on that ladder working on that car, installing those parts in that heat.

Where do they come from and why are they breathing our air ??

            Like

          • @racerrodig. O’Mara’s closing wasn’t organized. When he started off mudslinging at the State, I knew it would only get worst. When the evidence says “likely broken nose” but the attorney for the defendant STILL tells the jury it was broken, it has lost their trust.

            Like

          • I like to fall over on the broken nose line. His contradictions are so blatantly obvious he’s a joke. He insulted the state……never a good idea, he insulted the judge, a real bad idea and felt compelled to insult the jurors combined intelligence…….a fatal idea.

I couldn’t see Guys’ face but I know he didn’t move a muscle to help. O’MyAss slithered back to the tripod with his exhibit. He should had one of the CGI dummies hold the damn exhibit instead of asking Guy. It was all duh-fense tactics to make the State look unhelpful. Fail!

          • @ic2fools. Going back to October 2012, O’Mara and West have tried getting the State to do their work for them. Then, the wanted the State to analyze discovery material. It was a slick way of trying to find out how the State was going to argue certain evidence.

That effort of giving an appearance of authority over prosecutors was really to impress GZ supporters — the White Supremacist kind — who are of the opinion that State prosecutors are “race traitors” and therefore, inferior.

          • All things considered, the state out lawyer ed them right down the line and really gave them nothing. We know the jurors knew something about this and one example is the MMA shit inflicted (allegedly) by Trayvon and what do we, as the public find out just about 6 weeks ago………Fogen took 5 years of MMA training 3 days a week, 2 hours at a time. They state knew that last spring !!

          • @racerrodig. When the prosecution called JAG Carter, and he testified that GZ was taught self-defense law in the State of Florida, I think GZ turned purple. He sat on Hannity’s and said he had not heard of SYG. Prosecutors did an excellent job exposing GZ’s numerous lies and connecting them with his motivation for lying.

        • I posted this on whonoze’s but never got any feed back, maybe because I heard wrong or because it has been already discussed and resolved:

Probably not important but saw this while having a nosey at TL. I recall hearing GZ say about something about walking through the dog walk” in the interviews and I heard it last week during trial. I also recall he had one of his Freudian slips about going down the dog walk (do you recall where to find it) but it wasn’t this conversation because in that one, I remember him correcting it immediately. Do you recall if this below was discussed, because I can’t remember GZ ever referring to “the cut through” as “the dog walk” or does he ?

It’s from the recording of the Interview: SPD 2/26-1, 12:59-13:29”

Zimmerman: And I, I had gone where, through the dog walk where I normally walk my dog, and walked back through to my street, the street that loops around. And he said “We already have a police officer on the way.” So I said “OK.” I told, they said “Would you like a police officer to meet you?” And I said “Yes.” And I told them where my car was, and the make and the model.

          Singleton: Mmmhmm.

Zimmerman: So I was walking back through to where my car was. And he jumped out from the bushes.

Zimmerman is toxic. Everyone he gets close to ends up with a life in shambles. He’s done the Ostermans and his own family no favors. Taaffe is a public shame. ShelLIE still awaits trial on perjury. Why should the Feign Team be any different?

O’Mara’s been caught in many inconsistencies. He said “damn straight” there would be a pre-trial immunity hearing. Didn’t happen. Last year, he said he would be prepared for trial “early next year.” This year, he has cried in court consistently that he has not had enough time to prepare a defense. He said he would not try the case in the media. That was a lie.

The chickens come home to roost. All that evil they have done, and allowed to be done, returns on George.

Taing a quick poll, either by paper or verbal. That would given them a better idea of what needs to be worked on for a unimous decicion.

Lets’ say all voted guilty, now they would need to decide which applied. Then only one or to was unsure, find out the reason to work on that. Re take the poll and so forth

Now if it was me it would have been a problem. I would have voted guilty on errthing!
