George Zimmerman told investigators that he was not following Trayvon Martin but “going in the same direction.” Zimmerman stated that he was on Retreat View Circle when told not to follow. How is being on Retreat View Circle going in the “same direction” as Trayvon Martin who Zimmerman said went down the dog walk? This video answers that question.

Keep in mind that when the State filed the charge against GZ, they did not have reports of expert voice analysts. The State was confident then as they are now that they can prove GZ committed 2nd degree murder. The State did not put all their eggs into one basket.
I am so ready for Monday morning. Heard that Don West is giving opening statement for the defense. That should put the jury asleep for sure. 🙂

Xena….You & so many others are so right about the experts.I DO know WHO the best expert will be & it will be Sybrina! A Loving,caring Mom knows their childs voice a mile away! She is going to get up on that stand full of emotion & tell this jury that it is “Her Baby”.For some reason I can’t see Gladys mustering up ANY emotion to say that to make it believable!
When I heard West was doing opening….I thought,Holy Crap….I guess I better pack me a picnic basket for in front of the TV,b/c we will be here a while! I have a feeling he is going to push that envelope way too far! I have to say I am surprised that OSmeara would share the limelight at this important moment!

You’re right — Sybrina is the most credible witness for who was screaming. The 911 tape is the next best witness, because the screams stop with the gunshot. Anyone screaming for their life like that is unlikely to turn the emotions off after firing the shot. According to GZ, he was not sure he had hit Trayvon and Trayvon was still talking — so why stop yelling for help when you’re still in danger?

Actually Atty Crump had a better answer. The best person to determine who’s screaming on tape is zman himself. When police played the tape, he couldn’t identify who it was. He should know the sound of his own voice. I believe zman was just looking for a black person to kill. Now to those who say he’s a person of color, our brother (he’s not mine) ,remember his 1st arrest was for assaulting a cop (who like Trayvon was black). What black person can assault a cop and get away with it?

So the jurors will have to rely on their own ears, without the help of experts, big deal.
I gather the state has found the curriculum and instructors who taught at Kokocapellie’s gym, to show us what gz was taught about wrist locks, wrist control and other self defense moves. From what I’ve read they are very painful and gz has admitted he knew how to apply them. I sincerely doubt that Trayvon even knew what was happening.
After he leaves his truck, gz is never where he claims to be, or doing what he claims to be doing. That’s enough for murder 2 in my book.

@Lonnie Starr. Testimony about GZ’s activity and lessons at the gym are going to be real interesting. I agree — Trayvon didn’t know what was happening. A creepy guy had followed him in a truck, and when he runs to an area where no vehicle can come, he finds the same creepy guy following him on foot.

Just as the defense team stepped away from the SYG hearing, Omar has stepped away from the high profile opening statement, leaving it to the “bungling” West. West has the ability to dodder along and become slightly incoherent, while at the same time appearing conceited and snobbish. It would seem that Omar is up to some kind of trick. Why else would he risk alienating the jury from the jump? Perhaps his strategy is to try and provoke some juror reaction to get a hoped for mistrial? Hopefully Bernie will not let them go on uninterrupted for too long.
Me? I’m just wondering how a big strong adult with a gun, defends himself from a kid who never touched him? That will be the question of the day.

Thanks Xena, you sure did clear up what LLmpapa was saying. but i was just saying before that i seem to have a problem with spatial analysis. in this case the directionality that gz says Trayvon went (towards the back gate) definitely makes sense that he’d think that and/or say that. he’d said others would go out the back gate and Trayvon’s house was close to the gate. but my problem is i can’t believe ANYTHING he says about Trayvon’s actions. ya know.. especially other than the recorded NEN call. on that call i see certain facts that can be proven and show what times things happened, but not where things happened.
btw, now this clown is on twitter having a mini victory lap…kinda like shellie said he did after the trial..

Shannon, George Zimmerman is his own worst enemy. Being on Twitter is not to his benefit. For one thing, there are White Supremacists following him and asking that he follow them. I understand that he is tweeting Bible verses. Even the devil quoted scripture. He quoted scripture with the motivation to tempt, provoke pride, greed, and appeal to the needs of the flesh. Zimmerman would be better off getting his personal life together in private.

i’m actually afraid this last incident of the felony domestic has scared him into keeping his head down. i keep going back to that whole year that he stayed on the DL w.o a peep. i know he didn’t have his courage then because he couldn’t have a gun, but even the stupidest of insects learn to eventually avoid the poison.
Today on Twitter he’s thanking his supporters for letting him LIVE FREELY. and how he loves attention! if he manages to keep adoring zimmerlovers around him he can actually manipulate them into doing his harassment, like he said “they did a year so he didn’t get pinched”.
i can see this happening… he’s standing there in the spotlight pointing out how his friend was just protecting him, the victim!
i wish the DOJ would hurry up!!
