  1. Tracy is more of a man in this situation than I could ever hope to be……I know me…..I also know my anger would not rest….towards fogen…..& anyone that supports him.

I see Tracy dealing with it calmly and responsibly…..Sabrina doing the same

    • IMO, Tracy surprised the Sanford Police Dept. because he didn’t shuffle along like people of color did back in the 1950's and previously. Tracy knew what to do — get a lawyer and get some answers. He did the right thing.

Sybrina? I don't know if I could withstand half of what she has endured.

You’re so right. Tracy and Sybrina have abundant dignity. Nothing prevents them standing — not even the lies and degrading comments by Zidiots.

  3. Thank you Xena, for channeling our strength and words towards Tracy and Sybrina. By standing strong, they show the rightness of their case. I am honored to know that such people DO exist. Such dignity. I wish I could be like that.

  6. Xena………… my mind is wandering.
Sometimes I wish, I dream, that I could join Trayvon as he leaves the 7-11 and warn him of the stranger that lurks ahead and warn Trayvon to somehow detour the danger ahead to avoid the misery and death ahead.

But, sadly, it is fantasy to try…..the suffering is there….the reality of what occurred cannot be undone.

And, this song about going home….to the comfort of home….. keeps going through my mind:
    .
    .

    .

    >Well, life is a constant journey home.
Sometimes I think if I could be back where it started,
    I’d be where I’m goin’.
    .
But, I’ve no time for the fun of philosophiz’n.
    .
The reality of suffering is more than’s before my eyes.
And reality used to be perceived
Or be with the other eye.

Well, the sun is but a’more up in the sky.
And all the Earth decide where life comes,
If you a mind to, you can fly.

      .
But my mother never told me I …….
      .
Don’t tempt me to wander in pastures of fantasy.
Troubles mi’ turn too easily their faces from reality.
      .
      Well it’s round,
      Round the cycles of life
If all is joy and bliss,
It seems as where I’m goin’ to strive.
      .

Who carried me before I was born?
      .
      Who wished me misery
As I lay at rest in the warmth
      Of my mother’s tender breast?
      .
Well, life is a constant journey home.

    • Somehow, I think of Jerry Moore’s song as Trayvon’s song……just trying to get home.

      • @Yahtzee. The dream I had of Trayvon counters all the sorrowful feelings I had of what he endured the evening of 2/26/12. In the dream, Trayvon was sitting at a desk. It was a business office desk. He had papers in his hands going through them as though to organize them. He was talking, talking, talking, and at times would throw his head back and laugh. Trayvon simply went to another realm leaving his flesh body in this realm.

GZ might not know why he is so agitated and fearful when coming to court, but I know why. It’s because Trayvon’s spirit is at each hearing, and he taunts GZ. I did not know Trayvon personally but from what I have learned of him through dreams is that he was a teaser and practical joker. It wouldn’t surprise me if O’Mara, West, and GZ found that they came to court in mix-matched socks. LOL!!

      • Thanks for letting me know. It is delayed over there. My comments appeared 1/2 later and I have one that is not posting yet.

Basically I posted that about Reich’s audio report saying “These shall be” can be heard.

I am thinking that “shall be” sounds like “Shellie”.

Then, if you take the “th” off of “these” you are left with “ese”.
So, it could be “jeez, Shellie” or “keys, Shellie” or “please, Shellie”.

        Like

        • @Yahtzee. Reich included GZ’s tone, and his tone was a proclamation. “These shall be” the last minutes you live. “These shall be your last time ….”

Odd how June 10th sounds like Juneteenth. Will justice come by then?

    Like

    • @Cercando Luce. Unless O’Mara motions the court for a delay and Judge Nelson grants it, jury selection should start June 10th. That might take 2 to 3 weeks before a jury is seated. Unless GZ testifies, trial will probably not take long and jury deliberations will probably begin before the end of July.

Could you please expound on what you mean by “Juneteenth.” Does that have a particular meaning? I’m interested.

      • Xena- Juneteenth is a southern Day of Commemoration for when the Emancipation Proclamation reached the southern states. Yankees like me had never heard of it. I also have never heard the Civil War called the War of Northern Aggression!
