MAKE ALL THIS END

Robert Zimmerman Sr.

On March 19, 2012, Robert Zimmerman Sr. met with Investigator Jim Merck of the State’s Attorney Office, and Dale Crosby of the Florida Department of Law enforcement (FDLE).  Robert Zimmerman Sr. is George Zimmerman’s father.   Papa Zim’s statements reveal that by solely relying on his belief that it was George’s screams heard on the 911 tape, and that George had a broken nose, that the investigation should be closed.

When asked by the Investigator and FDLE officer if there was anything else Robert Zimmerman Sr. wanted to tell them or if there were any questions he had for them that they could answer, Robert Zimmerman Sr. replied,

“Not unless you can make all this end.”

As he continued to talk, Robert Zimmerman Sr. conveyed to the investigators what their decision should be, and how it should be presented to the public.  Effectively, he suggested to them that someone, from some office should stand up and say what the investigation reveals rather than only saying that no charges are being brought.  His suggestion was that by revealing the results of the investigation, it would prevent complaints that the Sanford Police Department and State of Florida cannot be trusted.

On March 19, 2012 when Robert Zimmerman Sr. spoke those words, he was well aware, and informed by the investigators at that meeting, that the investigation was on-going and had not concluded.  Papa Zim’s suggestion effectively told the investigators to make-up findings (or rely solely on him saying GZ is innocent), so that no charges would be brought against GZ.

  1. Trayvon’s family and friends also say it was, without a doubt, Trayvon’s voice crying for help.

Mr. Zimmerman states here that he heard that people were saying they saw George chasing Trayvon.

Thanks for this Xena, I understand how as a parent he wants desperately to believe in his son’s innocence. I wonder what his thoughts are on this now that his son has been caught in so many lies and changed his story so many times?

    • Papa Zim no doubt is blind to GZ’s lies. I have wondered how he feels extending financial help to GZ when he was in jail, to later learn that GZ and Shellie had over $135k hidden in separate accounts including that of GZ’s sister? Maybe, just maybe, he started his own website asking for money to divert donors from GZ. In the alternative, it’s money he will use to give to GZ under the table.

      • George Zimmerman’s father KNEW he had the paypal account… he was one of the signatures or administrators of the accunt. I remember Frank Taaffe speaking with the media, and he was explaining how he had set up an account and then discovered there were multiple fake paypal accounts and when GZ set up his account, it was finally suggested that the FT and GZ accounts be combined, because GZ was in hiding, FT said Robert Zimmerman went to the bank with him for some reason. I believe on the recorded jail calls the person referred to as “Ken” is the father… because he is at the bank as well when GZ speaks to the back employee.

Yeah Robert Zimmerman lied at the bond hearing as well, as MOM,SZ and George was the mastermind.

  3. He does not want the truth, he only wants to help his son escape justice, as he has always done in the past for his sick and dangerous son. He feels himself to a member of a specific class, which does not believe it should be questioned by the system or a group of people of specific classes and races that they look down on.

    • MichelleO, not only does Papa Zim not want the truth about GZ’s actions that night, he didn’t want the investigators to find the truth either. I totally agree with Judge Lester’s perception that if not for that GPS ankle bracelet, GZ would have skipped the country with $135k of other people’s money.

  4. For him to say something so blatant makes one wonder how much power Daddy Zimmerman has or think he has.

Or is Daddy Zimmerman as delusional as his son?

  5. Zimmerman sr said he said they were George’s screams because he recognized thenm from GZ screaming as a TEENAGER! There was a teenager screaming that night Trayvon!

    • Thanks Brown. I’ve visited that site. Much of what has been analyzed about the maps and times is based on GZ saying that he parked at the cut-through. What I’m looking for is an analysis of how far he would have ran from the cut-through until the wind was no longer heard in his cell phone. It is my impression that GZ would have ran passed the T. It is my perception that GZ did not park at the cut-through but exited his truck at the clubhouse around the mailboxes,

  7. Xena,
Did you catch what he said @ 8:00, He said maybe he was on patrol with someone else and something else had happened. We have been speculating that someone was with or tipped GZ about TM. What do you think?

    • It appears that Papa Zim said that as something he heard on the media. By that time, since the investigators had not replied to Papa Zim’s suggestions, he was reaching at straws. Suggesting that someone else was involved would be another alternative to distract from investigating GZ although GZ admitted to shooting Trayvon. Maybe Papa Zim knows more and will eventually throw someone else under the bus thinking it will save GZ from prison. It won’t. They can go handcuff in handcuff.

Here is some more excellent work done from a regular poster from BCCLIST, that has transcribed the 911 calls. Credit goes to Screaming Jay.

    Copied post from Screaming Jay
It’s in Excel format. If you download it you can move the columns around and edit them. I have the calls in order of connection. I’m working on a larger sheet with all the witnesses words in narrative form. But, see if this one is useful.
